Terms & Conditions

Effective date: 30 May 2007 · Last updated: December 2025

These Terms and Conditions govern the use of the Spacedust Films website and the commissioning of services provided by Spacedust Films (“we”, “us”, “our”). By commissioning our services or using our website, you (“the Client”, “you”) agree to be bound by these terms.

1. Eligibility

Our services and website are available only to individuals aged 18 or over. By using our services, you confirm that you are legally able to enter into a binding contract.

2. Website Use

Website content is provided for general information only. You may not use the website for unlawful purposes or in a way that could impair its operation. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or withdraw any part of the website without notice.

3. Intellectual Property

All content created by Spacedust Films — including video, photography, drone footage, AI-assisted outputs, 3D models, text, and branding — remains the intellectual property of Spacedust Films unless otherwise agreed in writing. Unauthorised copying, resale, sublicensing, or distribution is prohibited.

4. Bookings, Payments and Delivery

A booking is confirmed only once a deposit or full payment has been received. Invoices are payable within 14 days unless otherwise agreed. Late payments may incur interest at 5% per month.

Final delivery timelines are agreed prior to filming but may vary depending on project complexity and client feedback. Spacedust Films reserves the right to withhold delivery of content until payment is received in full.

5. Cancellations and Rescheduling

Cancellations made more than 48 hours before a scheduled shoot incur no charge.

Cancellations within 48 hours incur a 50% fee. Cancellations within 24 hours or on the day of the shoot are charged in full.

Rescheduling requests must be made at least 72 hours in advance and are subject to availability.

6. Client Responsibilities

The Client is responsible for ensuring that filming locations are accessible, safe, legally compliant, and prepared. All necessary permissions, consents, and releases must be obtained from occupants, property owners, or individuals appearing on camera.

7. Usage Licence and Copyright

Spacedust Films retains full copyright ownership of all commissioned content. Upon full payment, the Client is granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the final content for their own direct promotional purposes.

Content may not be resold, sublicensed, or supplied to third parties without written permission. Use in paid advertising campaigns, third-party collaborations, or platforms outside the Client’s direct ownership requires prior agreement.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, licences are valid for 24 months from delivery.

8. Portfolio and Promotion

Spacedust Films reserves the right to use commissioned content for its own promotion, including portfolio displays, website, and social media, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

9. Reshoots

Reshoots required due to client error will be billed separately. Reshoots required due to technical or crew error will be completed at no additional cost.

10. Liability and Force Majeure

Spacedust Films is not liable for indirect loss, loss of earnings, or reputational damage. Liability is limited to the total value of the contracted services.

We are not responsible for delays caused by events beyond our control, including weather, illness, equipment failure, travel disruption, or safety concerns.

11. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the UK courts.
