Doorways become frames. The staircase anchors the movement. Spaces unfold through longer camera moves, rather than appearing as individual rooms.

Setting the scene

Eastland Banks shaped by its hillside setting
View towards Hexham Abbey from Eastland Banks

The views across the valley return through windows, openings and terraces, keeping the landscape connected to the interiors.

Colour, light, landscape

Layered interior view connecting to the landscape

The interior palette and styling, developed by Sally Anderson at Dockleaf Developments, uses timber, soft neutrals and muted colour, allowing the landscape beyond the glazing to stay part of the room.
